Fine Line Tattoos

Beautiful Tattoos. Tiny Details. Big Impact.

At Picosa Ink Beauty Bar, we create fine line tattoos that look amazing today and stay beautiful for years. Whether you want your first small tattoo or a custom design that tells your story, we're here to help. Our artist uses special training and the best clean inks to make your tattoo dreams come true.

Coming in should feel calm, not rushed. You'll have time to settle in. Time to talk through your design together. Time to ask anything you want. We built this studio around rest, not hustle.

Ready to get your perfect fine line tattoo? Here's how we make it easy:

Request a Booking: Tell us about your dream tattoo. We'll listen and help you plan the perfect design. From there we can decide whether to do an in-person consultation (for bigger projects) before the appointment.

We create your custom design: Our artist will draw your tattoo just for you. You will be given plenty of time to review prior to beginning the actual inking. No rush. No pressure.

Pick your perfect spot: Not sure where to put your tattoo? We'll help you choose the best place on your body. We think about how it will look and how it will heal.

Get your tattoo: We use clean, vegan inks and gentle tools. You'll feel comfortable the whole time. We take breaks when you need them.

Learn how to care for it: We'll teach you easy steps to help your tattoo heal perfectly. We give you everything you need, including Picosa Aftercare with the best ingredients for optimal healing.

Love your tattoo forever: With good care, your fine line tattoo will stay clear and beautiful. We're here if you ever have questions.

Fine line tattoos are delicate, detailed, and timeless. They need special care and trained hands to look their best.

That's why we spent years learning the exact skills to create tattoos with thin, clean lines that won't blur or fade. We take pride in every single needle mark. Your tattoo is permanent, so we make sure it's done right the first time.

What Makes Fine Line Tattoos Special?

Fine line tattoos use super thin lines to create soft, elegant designs. Think anything from tiny flowers and simple words to whole sleeves and complicated designs. All of them with intentionality in the details. Yes, fine line is optimal for little tattoos but the sky is the limit!

Popular fine line tattoo styles:

  • Tiny tattoos: Small designs like stars, hearts, dates, or initials on wrists, ankles, fingers, or behind your ear.
  • Custom designs: We draw something totally unique for you. Your story. Your art. No one else will have the same tattoo.
  • Floral tattoos: Delicate flowers, leaves, and plants. These look soft and natural on any body part.
  • Script and words: Names, quotes, or special dates written in beautiful handwriting style.
  • Minimalist line art: Simple drawings with just one continuous line. Abstract, artistic, and modern.
  • Celestial designs: Moons, stars, planets, and astrology symbols. Small but meaningful.

Best Locations for Fine Line Tattoos

Fine line tattoos work on almost any body part. Here are the most popular spots:

  • Wrist and forearm: Easy to see and show off. Great for small designs or script.
  • Ankle: Delicate and feminine. Perfect for tiny symbols or flowers.
  • Behind the ear: Subtle and easy to hide. Good for first tattoos.
  • Collarbone: Elegant placement for words or horizontal designs.
  • Ribs: More painful but beautiful for larger fine line pieces.
  • Fingers and hands: Trendy but fade faster. Need more care.
  • Spine: Stunning for vertical designs like words or vines.

Keep in mind that some designs cost more depending on placement. We want to achieve the ultimate best with each piece, so intricate placement may take more time. Not sure where to put your tattoo? We'll help you pick the perfect spot based on your design, pain tolerance, and lifestyle.

Touch-Up Policy

Fine-line tattooing is a delicate and meticulous art form. While every piece is applied with precision and intention, all tattoos heal differently depending on skin type, placement, lifestyle, and aftercare.

To maintain the integrity of your piece, the following policy applies:

  • #1 First Touch-Up One complimentary touch-up is offered within the first 6 months of your original appointment. This session is intended for minor refinements due to normal healing. The client is responsible for booking their touch-up within the 6 month time frame to qualify.
  • #2 Scheduling Touch-ups are scheduled during regular weekday business hours only. Touch-ups are not performed on weekends. Picosa Ink does not offer last-minute bookings. As appointments are typically booked weeks in advance, clients are strongly encouraged to plan ahead when scheduling their touch-up.
  • #3 Additional Touch-Ups Any touch-ups beyond the first session are $30 per appointment. Appointments booked after the 6 month window will be subject to the $30 touch-up rate.
  • #4 Not Included

The following are not covered under the complimentary touch-up:

    • Design changes, additions, or resizing

    • Significant fading due to sun exposure or improper aftercare

    • Trauma to the area during healing

Touch-ups are intended to perfect the original work not to alter or bolden the design beyond its intended style.

Anything beyond a touch-up is available at an additional cost and appointment.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Most work starts at $100. Sometimes I am able to do very small tattoos at a discount.

  • We believe in transparency and only use high-quality, skin-safe ingredients in our tattoo inks. All ingredients are vegan, cruelty-free, and ethically sourced. Check out our full list of ingredients below to better understand what goes into every drop.

  • Elevated experience, spa/high-end feel. Everything is chosen with you in mind, to help you recenter, relax, and reclaim your peace.

  • Fine-line tattoos don't hurt like a normal tattoo, since they are so delicate. Some spots hurt more than others, of course, but places with more fat (like your arm or thigh) tend to do fine, while places with less fat (like your ribs or ankle) can be more uncomfortable.

  • Consultations cost $50, which rolls into the service cost.
