Daily care
Support your body without overworking it.
- Wash your hands before touching the area.
- Use sterile saline as directed by your piercer.
- Leave jewelry in place and do not twist or rotate it.
- Keep makeup, skincare, hair products, and unclean surfaces away from the piercing.
- Protect the area from pressure, snagging, and sleeping directly on it.
During healing
Let time and anatomy lead.
- Some swelling, tenderness, and light crusting can be normal early in healing.
- Do not change jewelry before your piercer says the channel is ready.
- Return for downsizing when recommended to protect the angle and reduce irritation.
- Avoid pools, hot tubs, and bodies of water during the initial healing period.
- Contact the studio before removing jewelry if you suspect a problem.
