What You Get With Level One
Level One is designed to build strong foundational piercing skills while keeping the training accessible, safe, and affordable. Here's what your training includes at a glance.
Level One Training and Mentorship Pricing
- Level One Training $1,650
- Pay in full at enrollment and save 10%. Your total drops to $1,485.
- Payment plan available: $500 deposit to reserve your spot. The remaining $1,150 is split into payments due before Day 1.
- No interest. No credit check. All payments are final and non-refundable.
- Includes your starter kit, practice materials, training manual, aftercare education, waiver training, certificate, and ongoing student support.
- 3-Month Mentorship $1,100
- Pay $1,100 in full or $400 per month for 3 months.
- Complete up to 25 supervised piercings at Picosa Ink Beauty Bar. Use of the studio piercing station is included.
- All piercing supplies are provided by the studio. Models pay a tray fee per piercing to cover supplies and setup. Tray fees are separate from tuition.
- All mentorship payments are final and non-refundable. 100% of tips from models belong to you.

3-Month Piercing Mentorship
The best way to build real confidence after Level One.
Our mentorship is designed for Level One graduates who want continued guidance, supervised practice, and a smoother path into working with real clients. You'll bring your own models and complete up to 25 piercings at our studio with instructor support. Assistance may include in-person supervision, guidance, or real-time feedback. As your confidence grows, the support adjusts so you can work more on your own.
You provide your own models during the mentorship. Models must meet studio requirements and sign all consent forms. Only Level One piercings are allowed, and instructor approval is needed before you schedule. All studio rules, safety protocols, and standards apply. Scheduling is based on studio availability.

Level One covers earlobes, helix, tragus, nostril, and conch. These were chosen because they are the most requested piercings in professional studios. They give you a strong foundation to build on as you grow your skills.
No previous piercing experience is needed. Level One is built for beginners. We teach you everything from the ground up. You just need to be 18 or older and ready to learn. Training is in-person only at our Loveland, CO studio.
We provide bloodborne pathogens education on Day 1 to prepare you for the certification exam. You'll take the test on Day 2 (Saturday). The certification is completed on your own and costs about $30. This cost is not included in your tuition. You must pass the test before you can participate in live model piercings on Day 3.
Your tuition includes a student starter piercing kit, practice materials, a digital training manual and workbook, adult and minor piercing waiver education, sample consent and liability forms, aftercare education and sample materials, access to a private Facebook support group, continued Q&A and guidance after training, your Level One Certificate of Completion, and payment plan options.
After you finish Level One, you can join our 3-month mentorship for $1,100. You'll bring your own models and complete up to 25 supervised piercings at our studio. All supplies are provided. Models pay a small tray fee per piercing to cover setup costs. As your confidence grows, the level of support adjusts. You keep 100% of any tips. The mentorship does not guarantee employment.
Yes. Level Two training is coming soon and will be available to Level One graduates. It will cover advanced and specialty piercings, more complex anatomy, increased live model work, and advanced troubleshooting. Follow @picosainkacademy on Instagram for updates.
